Welcome to 2nd Cuddington Cubs. Our section covers the age range of 8 – 10 years and is open to both boys and girls.
Three warranted leaders, two assistants and usually a minimum of three Explorer Scout Young Leaders run the section. Our section is known as the Pack which in turn is split into groups called Sixes; currently yellow, red, blue and green. Each six is led by an older Cub called a Sixer who has a Seconder to assist them, the other members of the Six being the younger Cubs
Our meetings are mixed throughout the year and are based around a balanced programme as set out by the Scout Association. Our programmes over the year are varied and cover many different aspects of Scouting such as tracking, fitness, compass, road safety, cooking on open fires, first aid, to name but a few. Most of these activities lead to the Cubs gaining badges.
