Beaver Scouts are boys and girls aged 6 - 8 years who meet once a week at Rowe Hall to form a 'Colony'. Our Beaver Colony is run by a team of experienced and trained leaders and helpers.

At 2nd Cuddington, Beaver Scout activities are a combination of learning and having fun. They learn about themselves and how to look after themselves, they get to know people from their local community. They find out about life in other countries and explore through organised activities. They care by helping those around them.

Our weekly beaver programme brings together all of the following:

  • playing games
  • meeting new friends
  • gaining badges
  • going on outings and visits
  • going outside to learn about the outdoors
  • creating things
  • meeting new people
  • listening to stories
  • growing up into the Cub Scout section
  • Our programme is also based around the four development areas of: Personal, Caring, Scouting and Exploring. Once Beaver Scouts reach their 8th birthday they can move up into our Cub Scout section - with even more challenges ahead!
